latBrand was established to lead brands to actively solicit buyers and users' participation in the message to interact with the brand, build a relationship with the brand, and more importantly, trust the brand.

Claudio Perez-Korinko

Founder of latBrand with 30 years of experience in creative strategic cultural marketing, advertising and branding.

Throughout his professional career, Claudio has developed and executed integrated brand awareness, brand persuasion and brand response ad campaigns for Time Warner Cable, T-Mobile, CenturyLink, Sprint, BB&T and Omega Healthcare among some other brands in the retail, financial, lifestyle and non-profit organizations.

Claudio is also the founder of IM Latino Insights which he led for 10 years. He holds a BA in Communications and Spanish and a Master of Science in Management from Baker University.

Claudio is a native of Santiago, Chile, bilingual in Spanish and English and bicultural.

When Claudio is not with clients, he can be found writing on branding concepts or on the road cycling away by the Californian sea!  

Alfonso "Fons" Covarrubias

Born in Boyle Heights, California, of Mexican ancestry. Alfonso aka "Fons," as he prefers to be called, has been noteworthy leader in the advertising and graphic design industry. The first in his family to attend college, he completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honors) in 1993 at the world renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.

Fons has spearheaded a multitude of highly integrated, national and international communication campaigns for numerous Fortune 500 companies. Clients such as, Honda Motor Company, Nestle, Nisan North America, Spectrum, AT&T and VW.

In past work history, Fons has worked for several ad agencies, and more recently he was the Lead Art Director/Designer at Flowers Communications Group in Chicago, producing communication and design for the city of Chicago's efforts to vaccinate it's population.

Based in East LA, Fons seeks to share his experience with his community to inspire upcoming creative artists.
